SC@RUG (or student colloquium in full) is a course that master students in computing science follow in the first year of their master study at the University of Groningen.
The first SC@RUG was organized back in 2002 by Rein Smedinga and Jan Terlouw. Since then, Rein Smedinga was the coordinator of this course until the 21st version in academic year 2023-2024. In all versions, students wrote a paper, participated in the review process and gave a presentation.
Since 2913, this website is used for the announcement of the conference and a hall of fame of best presenters and best papers is maintained, see the list below.
Since 2024-2025, Rein has retired and the course has been taken over by others. In 2024-2025, this website was not used for announcing the proogramme and no conference procedings were made.| overview of SC@RUG |
